SAVE THE DATE!
Our popular Judged Trail Ride will be held on Sunday, November 19th at the farm
Open to horses and riders of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Try your skill along a marked trail with 10-15 obstacles in the fields and woods bordering the rescue and the Sassafras River. Tackle the trail with friends in groups of 3-5 riders. Riders receive a score of 0-10 points for each obstacle. Certain obstacles will have a higher degree of difficulty and will be worth double points. Obstacle judges will explain each obstacle as you arrive. Horses will be judged on calm successful completion of each obstacle. Simply attempting an obstacle will be given a “1”- Bypassing an obstacle will be given a “0”. In the event of a tie, tie will be broken by the rider with the higher scores at the double pointed obstacles. Ride is NOT timed.
