Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, The Jockey Club
Laura Barillaro serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Jockey Club, the breed registry for all Thoroughbred horses in North America. Prior to that she was vice president and controller for The Jockey Club. Barillaro is responsible for all financial operations for The Jockey Club and its affiliated companies.
Prior to joining The Jockey Club, she spent nearly eight years with the international accounting firm Ernst & Young in New York, specializing in media and entertainment.
Barillaro also serves as treasurer of the Blood-Horse, Belmont Child Care Association, Equibase Company, InCompass Solutions, The Jockey Club Information Systems, The Jockey Club Technology Services, TJC Media Ventures, Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, and The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation.
A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Barillaro is a graduate of Fordham University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in public accounting and a master of business administration in media communications.
