Equine Advocates’ 22nd Annual Gala promises to be one of the most anticipated events in Upstate New York this fall. On Saturday, September 9, 2023, Judy Collins will perform live at PS21: Performance Spaces for the 21st Century —an amazing 300-Seat Open-Air Pavilion Theater in Chatham, NY. Prior to the performance, VIP ticket holders and Sponsors will attend an outdoor cocktail party catered by Candle Café of NYC at Equine Advocates Rescue & Sanctuary, which is conveniently located just one mile from the venue. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the care of the 80 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules who call the sanctuary home and toward the rescue of other equines in jeopardy. Redwings would be remiss if they didn’t mention the most important part: the opportunity to get to know the amazing horses that call Redwings home. There will be demonstrations for everyone to enjoy and, of course, the silent and live auctions that will take place throughout the day! This annual event is Redwings’ key fundraiser, and the donations support medical care and feed for the horses for the year. The Days End Farm annual benefit concert welcomes back to Maryland's premier horse farm, The 19th Street Band with friends, Patty Reese & Band, on the front lawn at the new Arts & Education Pavilion affectionately called "The Hitching Post". This years concert will pay tribute to Day End Farm's late founder, Kathy Schwartz-Howe, who passed away earlier this year where they'll honor her incredible legacy throughout the farm and with music. Enjoy popular food trucks, beer & wine, lawn games, and farm tours to meet the rescue horses – there is something for the whole family!! With their tireless efforts, the VTP ensures these horses receive the care, love, and support they need and by attending their Annual Barn Party, you will directly contribute to the VTP’s mission and join them in setting the gold standard for Thoroughbred aftercare in Virginia.
