The TAA will be in attendance on Virginia Derby Day Aug. 31 to host the Best Turned Out Horse Awards Sponsored by the Virginia HBPA. The TAA will also present the Old Nelson Stakes and accept a check from the Virginia HBPA.
The TAA will have a named race on Sunday, March 27, 2022 on the undercard at Tampa Bay Downs. Immediately following the race a TAA blanket and swag bag will be presented in the winner's circle.
Gulfstream Park and 1/ST host TAA Day at the Races on Florida Derby Day! The TAA will have a named race on Saturday, April 2, 2022 on the undercard at Gulfstream Park. Immediately following the race a TAA blanket and swag bag will be presented in the winner’s circle. For one day only, jockeys will have the opportunity to pledge their mounts to the TAA. In January 2022 the TAA hosted Off to the Races its inaugural online auction campaign of bucket list experiences. The 2022 Florida Derby is the first of 12 experiences the TAA will have auction winners in attendance.
The TAA will have a race presentation on the undercard of Jeff Ruby Steaks Day at Turfway Park. Look for us in Race 6!
The TAA will present Race 6 on the undercard on Champion's Day, at Churchill Downs.
The TAA will present a race on the BESD undercard as well as present Best Turned Our Horse Awards for each race!
NYRA will partner with the New York Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (NYTHA) and New York Thoroughbred Breeders (NYTB) in hosting the second annual New York Thoroughbred Aftercare Day. The day will pay tribute to an array of organizations involved in finding new homes and careers for retired racehorses. The featured race will be the Rick Violette Stakes, named for the late NYTHA President who was a founding member of the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA). 11:00am Gates Open 1:05pm First Post
