HART Spring Benefit Horse Show

HART’s Spring Benefit Fun Show at Jester Park Equestrian Center starts at 10 a.m.! All net proceeds of the Benefit Fun Show will aid HART in its mission of rehabilitating and re-homing of Thoroughbreds. The event is fully accessible to any HART supporters that wish to come out and show us what they and their horses can do, or general HART supporters who wish to come and simply watch and have fun!! Of course, we are hoping to attract as many HART horse alums as we can and may even have a couple special awards or recognition for HART alums besides the winners of their respective classes. We are also making available sponsorships at the show! The four tier sponsorship levels will be Best In Show, Grand Champion, Blue Ribbon, and Friend of HART. The event will have on hand concessions, t-shirt/polo sales, general information about HART, and of course some of our HART horses that will be up for adoption currently! Below you will find our Show Bill, Entry Form, Waiver Form, and Sponsorship Form. With the Entry Form and Waiver Form you may return them signed to iowahart@gmail.com or bring it along the day of the show, in both cases please bring payment on the day of the event. Legends Tour at Old Friends

Join Michael Blowen, founder of Old Friends, and special guest, Sandy Hatfield, longtime stallion manager at Three Chimneys Farm, on a special tour of Old Friends and hear the amazing stories of some of the farm's wonderful horses. Days End Farm Horse Rescue offers a two-hour program designed specifically for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. DEFHR's Scout Day Program includes a tour of the farm, educational talk, hands-on horse grooming, hands-on horse leading, and a short riding demonstration. This program allows numerous troops to join us on one day to gain knowledge and develop a passion for horses. Participants will earn a Days End Farm Horse Rescue Badge.   REGISTRATION FEE: $10.00/Scout
