Presenting the 33rd Annual Paul Frazer Memorial Combined Test and Dressage Show benefitting Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, a 501c3 located at the Kentucky Horse Park dedicated to improving the quality of life and health of individuals with special, physical, cognitive, or behavioral needs through equine therapeutic activities. Since 1981, CKRH has assisted thousands of Central Kentuckians with disabilities as they strive to be fully engaged individuals and community citizens. Our equine therapeutic services help them improve gross/fine motor skills, balance, strength, or coordination while our equine-assisted learning and mental health programs further develop their communication, emotion regulation, and social interaction skills. The Paul Frazer Memorial Combined Test and Dressage Competition is dedicated to a former CKRH Board Member who worked to remove physical barriers facing children with special needs. Paul designed the first handicap-accessible bus in the Fayette County Public School System—a design that later served as a model for all special needs buses in Kentucky.
