I B a Babydoll is our featured horse this week. The 2004 NY-bred mare was adopted from TAA accredited organization Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program. ‘Pepper’ raced 35 times, with all but two of those being run at Finger Lakes Racetrack. After going through FLTAP, Pepper has found a new home in North Carolina with her adopters’ granddaughters, Lauren and Megan. Lauren shows Pepper in the hunters, with the pair moving up the ranks over the past couple of years. Lauren has nothing but good things to say about the mare stating that ‘her willingness and intelligence make her a joy to work with and a once in a lifetime horse.’
Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program, located in Farmington, NY, was accredited by the TAA in 2014 and was founded in 2006 with the mission of helping to find new homes and careers for horses which have raced at Finger Lakes Racetrack.
