In his last race, Little Mo was elevated to third after a disqualification in the 2016 edition of the Kitten’s Joy Stakes (now a grade 3 on turf). But a sesamoid fracture was discovered when he came up lame after breezing, so owner Carlo Vaccarezza decided to retire him, and Little Mo headed to TAA-accredited Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds.
