Penman made only four starts before deciding that life on the racetrack wasn’t for him.
He made his last start at Golden Gate Fields and through the CARMA placement program, the Irish-bred son of Lope de Vega found himself a home across the San Francisco Bay at TAA-accredited Square Peg Foundation.
