Running mostly in the claiming ranks in the Mid-Atlantic region, Play Book made 29 starts in her four seasons on the track. Winning four times and earning seven additional placings, the daughter of Fast Play retired from racing with earnings of $39,999.
The mare had two foals to race, both winners. Now at age 25, Play Book lives at TAA-accredited Our Mims, where she’s known for her mischievous antics.
“Play Book is our tiny dynamo,” Our Mims president and founder Jeanne Mirabito said. “She is comically mischievous in her daily exploits. We can almost hear her shout ‘Hey, watch this!” as she shreds a winter blanket then prances with glee”
