The son of Bwana Charlie was bred and initially raced by Howie Tesher—and was named after Tesher’s brother–before being claimed and retired two starts later in 2013. The tall bay went to Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance-accredited Florida TRAC, where his demeanor made an impression on the team. When an application came in from a local mounted unit in need of a horse, trainer Katie Schmit immediately thought of Tizrobertcharles.
